Hi, my name is Sonkar. I was an office worker for a Black company. As the black company, in the sense that it was basically an illegal company and was set up by a man who just liked to blackmail everyone.
And the people who worked there weren’t even ready to work for them, but due to some dark secrets of theirs, they were forced to work.
It was an import and export company on the outside, but their real main business was drugs, smuggling, and so on. But everybody knew about our company, but no one had the courage to say a single word to anyone.
This was because the high officials were blackmailed by our boss, and even the prime minister wasn’t in a position to talk about us. And the pay scale was pretty average, and everyone who was working there was a great talent.
But just like this, my life shifted from being an average office worker to a wanderer. Due to a massive accident in the company, it got burned, and due to improper management of the company, many people were burned in those flames, and my name was at the top of it.
But my luck was pretty bad, as due to a bitch, I wasn’t even able to die. Just when I was burned in those flames, that bitch brought a fire extinguisher and started spraying it on me.
But due to other injuries from the accident, I was barely even alive back then, and due to that bitch, I was hanging between death and life for an entire month, and the most interesting part is that the company didn’t pay a single penny for my medical bills, and also the hospital made sure to suck every saving of mine. So now the only thing that was in my mind was a desire for death.
Because this was the last thing I could think of for saving my ass from such sufferings, my remaining savings could also be used for my parents’ livelihood. But if I think about my life, then it was nothing more than a piece of garbage. Because I couldn’t even find a peaceful death in my entire 29 years of life.
Well, surely everybody has a hard time, but I was just hoping that I could at least peacefully die. Well, guess this was way too hard for these bastard gods of this world. As my browser history wasn’t even deleted by me. I hope that hard disk crashes and the system will delete its history.
But I guess it will all be meaningless pretty soon. Soon I started to feel that the oxygen was lacking. As I saw a nurse and a few doctors who were messing with an oxygen tank. As I tried to say something, I heard the boss’s laughter and saw the doctors were closing the knobs of my oxygen supply.
Seeing it, I was thinking that it was for the best, but then I started to hear the boss’s words: “Well, finally this brat has now covered my entire loss, and I also claimed the insurance. But for these pesky beings, their hospital bills should continue even after they die, and I will just suck all the money from these pieces of trash.”
Hearing his words, my heart began to burn, but what could I even do when my entire body was burnt and even the oxygen supply was diminishing? So there isn’t even a single thing left for me to do. ‘A true useless piece of shit!’
But as I was thinking about all this, I heard a sound: “Hey kiddo, do you want a new life?” But I was way too tense about that bastard boss, so I began to think that at least maybe I would be able to live freely in the next life.
But I asked him, “Hey, are you like those manga gods who give boons to reincarnate in RPG worlds with magic and sword stuff?”
For some time I didn’t hear any voice, so I thought he might have left, but then I heard a voice: “You might say that, but I want an answer to my question: do you wish to reincarnate or not?”
After hearing this, I got a glimpse of hope that at least it will give me freedom from all assholes around me, but there was nothing free in this world. So there must be a trick behind this goody act. So I asked him, “What if I agree to take the deal? What will happen then?”
After hearing my question, he became silent for a time and began to answer: “You will be reincarnated into a strange world with lots of magic and stuff. As in your world, it is way too famous. You people call it “isekai.”
After I heard this word, “isekai,” joy came to my mind, but also the tension of that nonsense of defeating the demon lord and saving humanity and random bullshit. So I asked, “Will I be forced to fight against demons or save humanity?”
Soon he answered, “Well, no, you will be given the class of wanderer, so you won’t be forced to join either side.
But rather, fighting is the job of a hero. So don’t worry about that.”
So after hearing this, I felt somewhat at ease and thought, “What could happen even if something goes wrong? That won’t be worse than this. So let’s accept his deal.”
After this, I agreed to his deal and felt some dazzling white aura around him. Soon I felt that air again returned to me, and then I tried to open my eyes.
And I saw strange ground underneath me, and I was way too small; I felt like I again turned young.
So, feeling it, I tried to stand up, and I felt a strange sense of flexibility while waking up. And due to it, I quickly got up. But seeing my hands and my body, it was clear that they were much smaller than before. And it felt more like I was in somebody else’s body.
But I felt that his clothes were greatly tattered and were full of scars. So now, it was clear that the owner of this body must have had a fight with someone really OP and died.
But why did I come in this body? Thinking about all these things, I looked at the ground and felt astonishment; a strange magic circle was printed on the ground, and the materials that were used in this weren’t normal. Because I could clearly smell the stinky smell of blood from the magic circle.
So it was clear that I was in a bigger mess than before.
And, I again got scammed by some random old coot
. But the question still remains: “Why was I even reincarnated?”
